The main blower motor is the main component for delivering heated or cooled air all around the home. The blower motor is a main element of any indoor portion of a split system and carries out a seemingly fundamental job in circulating the air inside a home.
Symptoms that the motor on the blower ready to die and will have to be replaced shortly
- The main blower has a hard time pushing the correct volume of air to the home.
- After the HVAC system is started the circuit breaker flips, halting the system due to the motor on the blower shorting out.
- The blowing of air has difficulty starting and suddenly stops while running.
- The blower motor makes a squeaking or thumping noise while the blower is starting or while it is running.
