Carrier 58DLA045 Limit Switch

One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that determines if and when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated.
