Carrier 58CTX09010020 Limit Switch
Limit switches are built because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. The limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
Easy warnings limit switch will have to be replaced
- The system is beginning to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly from time to time
- Your Carrier system will not initiate or will not stay running longer than 10 minutes
