The Carrier 52F control board is made to command the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor as well as the air circulator all in one unit. Your furnace or AC will not run lest the main control board is properly connected to the unit. Be absolutely sure when you are deciding on a replacement due to differences in certain brands.
