The fan motor on the compressor has the main duty of cooling the compressor, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat energy has to be driven away. Be certain the replacement motor has the exact voltage and the correct amp listing as on the current fan motor. The motor can be replaced with the blade or without as this will reduce install time and a little less costly, as well.
