Carrier 50XT-A42 Control Board
The control board is created to oversee the gas valve, the igniter, the flame sensor and the blower all in one unit. It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even be able to function lest this board is accurately installed and configured. It is of utmost importance when choosing a control board due to so many small differences in systems. Any control board you choose will have a matching part number that will fit in both the brand and specific model of air handler system you have.
Warnings of a dying main circuit board
- The system has to be reset repeatedly for the thermostat to kick in
