Carrier 50TFQ008 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that will consistently detect the proper flame when igniting the system. Because of the safety issues involved, if the sensor goes off the gas valve is shut off and the system halts for as long as the problem remains.
