Carrier 50EZ Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that decides when the heated air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches were created because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.

- The Carrier system is beginning to shut down unexpectedly from time to time
- The heating and cooling system will not begin or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
