Carrier 48HJD008 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that can determine if and when the air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
