The blower motor is part of the primary blower for distributing circulated air all through the house. The main blower motor is an important piece of hardware as it pertains to the indoor portion of a split system and performs a very important part in circulating the air inside a home.
Red flags the main blower motor is faulty and probably will have to be fixed
- The main blower makes a squeaking or thumping noise while starting or while it is running.
- The circulation of air starts and ends abruptly before the heating or cooling tamp has been reached.
- When the system is initiated the electrical circuit that supplies electricity to the system blows, causing the system to shut down as a result of the blower motor causing a shorted circuit in the home.
- Your blower cannot generate even a minimum amount of air throughout the home.
