Carrier 42S Limit Switch
Limit switches are crucial because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that makes the determination if and when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
