Carrier 38TKB048 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. Limit switches are crucial because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
