Carrier 38QR Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
Indications limit switch will need replacing
- The whole system begins to erratically repeatedly
- System will not begin the ignition sequence or run well longer than 30 seconds
