Carrier 38CQ Ignition Igniter
The Carrier 38CQ ignition igniter is in control of firing up propane or natural gas in the furnace. It is not possible for the furnace to get going and establish any heat if it fails to do its job.
Major symptoms of a bad igniter
- There is no ignition of the gas at the start of the sequence
- System produces nothing throughout the ductwork
