When choosing a new AC adapter, choosing the Acer brand one will probably be the safest way to go. Because Acer uses one power charger that can be used on other units, make sure you check the part number for the correct one. A universal AC adapter can be used if you absolutely need to. If buying off-brand, make note of both the volts and amps outputs.
