Acer Aspire 3300S Wifi
You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your Acer desktop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your router.
Key clues of an inadequate wireless card
- The wireless adapter in your Acer desktop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The wireless signal goes in and out over and over again
- The desktop wireless driver shows it as not installed
